BEGINNER SEWING CAMP
Learn the fun and useful skill of sewing. You will learn the fundamentals of hand and machine sewing by selecting a project(s) of your choice. Students can select from creating a: pillow, pillow case, pencil case, tote bag, simple purse, animal/monster stuffie, key chain stuffie, pin cushion, or water bottle holder. You will have so much fun learning to create with fabric. Also, you can bring an old t-shirt or pants and let’s Upcycle your clothing into something new!! All sewing supplies included.

ACTING WORKSHOP
Comprehensive introduction to theater! This engaging workshop focuses on group exercises, games, and ensemble work, culminating in a small-scale student showcase performance. Each class is thoughtfully designed to enhance students’ creativity, critical thinking, confidence, discipline, independence, emotional awareness, and cooperation— all through the art of performance. Presented by theater professional Eric Schulz, a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association and Strasburg’s Music Director, Jenny Authier. Eric brings over 25 years of experience as a stage performer, director, and coach. Together, they’re excited to share their passion for education and the performing arts. Performance on July 12th.

OPEN CREATE!
“Open Create” is a studio environment for you to work with different mediums. We will have a variety of supplies on hand for you to experiment with or you can bring your own projects in. This is a great way to spend a couple hours relaxing with friends and expressing your creativity. Instructors will not be leading these sessions, it is up to you to create on your own. We encourage you to donate to participate so we can replenish supplies as we go. Don’t miss out on this very unique opportunity. Stay Creative!

HISTORY PRESENTATIONS
You are invited to join us for several special evenings of history and conversation. Museum Curator Cliff Smith will present several different topics. Join us from 6:00-6:30pm for a light snack. Presentation will begin promptly at 6:30pm and conclude at 8pm. A free will offering will be accepted to benefit the mission of the Comanche Crossing Historical Society and Museum in Strasburg.
