YOUTH ART CLASSES

ArtSPARK Studio strives to create a community of learners that values authentic creativity, and an inviting, non-judgmental environment. Each session will aim to foster creativity and independence, utilizing various art-making techniques (see website for more details on each session). Saturday, October 26 —Session 1: Watercolor & Printmaking;  Deadline: October 21. Description: Participants will learn the differences between dry and wet watercolor applications, the reaction of salt and alcohol on watercolor paint, engage in marble painting, and discover the basics of printmaking.

Saturday, December 21—Session 3: Sculpture; Deadline: December 16. Description: Our Sculptures session lets participants build and sculpt using a variety of materials. Young artists will learn about form, balance, and structure as they create their own unique 3D artworks.

Saturday, January 18—Session 4: Fiber Art; Deadline: January 13. Description: This session introduces children to basic textile techniques, including weaving, knotting, wrapping, and hand sewing. Participants will create a piece of fiber art that showcases their fine motor skills and appreciation for textile arts.

Saturday, February 15—Session 5: Color Theory and Application; Deadline: February 10. Description: Young artists will learn about color theory, experiment with color mixing, and apply what they’ve learned to create vibrant paintings. This educational and fun session encourages experimental use of paint to express ideas and emotions.

ADAPTIVE ART CLASS

 ADULT ART CLASS

 Discover the art of polymer clay by crafting a cute bear ornament in this guided workshop. This session offers a unique opportunity to create and personalize an adorable bear ornament while exploring the versatile world of polymer clay.
