Recreation Center (1932 Burton Street): Location of the District offices, Twisters Gymnastics & Cheer Club, and Virtual Fitness Studio.

Legion Hall (56423 Westview Avenue): Home of the American Legion Post #183, Discovery Time Preschool, Cub Scouts, and V.I.P. Seniors. Available for special event rentals—includes a full kitchen, tables, and chairs.

Community Park West (1867 Wagner Street): Gathering place for kids of all ages, including an outdoor basketball court and playground.  Recently renovated with the help of an Open Space Grant from Adams County.

Community Park East (1866 Wagner Street): Funded by Adams County Open Space and GOCO. The park includes an outdoor amphitheater, splash pad, basketball court, picnic pavilion, and natural play area.

Lyons Park (1409 Railroad Street): Facilities include a playground, horseshoe pits, and a covered picnic facility.

South Ball Field (1932 Burton Street): Home to the SHS State Championship softball team, youth teams, and adult coed league. Batting cages available on site.

North Baseball Field & T-Ball Field (56401 Sunset Avenue): Home to the SHS baseball team. Batting cages and bullpens also available on site.

Five Acre Sports Park (55223 E. Bison Drive): Funded by Arapahoe County Open Space Grant, the Park includes a softball field, a multi-purpose turf field, picnic shelter, and a playground.

Wolf Creek Run West (3125 Piggott Road): Funded by Adams County Open Space Grant, the athletic facility includes includes a baseball/softball field, and a multi-purpose turf field.

Community Track (56729 E. Colorado Avenue): Funded by GOCO in a joint partnership between Strasburg Rec and Strasburg School District. The community is invited to utilize the track year around.

Comanche Crossing Museum (56060 E Colfax Avenue): Local history museum featuring area history artifacts and buildings featuring train depot displays.


 

FACILITY RULES

  • Parks are open from 6am to 11pm.
  • Use facility at your own risk.
  • Pets MUST be on a leash; utilize pet waste stations.
  • No overnight parking or camping.
  • NO motorized bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, or UTVs (unless authorized).
  • STRICTLY PROHIBITED: smoking, vaping, controlled substances, alcohol, weapons, littering, profanity, glass bottles, and fireworks.
  • Athletic Fields: Park at your own risk – foul ball hazards exist. Stay off when puddling occurs, or if field is lined. NO pets allowed on playing field.
