**CLASSES WILL BEGIN AGAIN ON AUG. 21**
Class placement is determined by skill level and age. Each class is carefully constructed to motivate your child in a fun and progressive environment with the primary emphasis on safety and proper training methods for injury prevention and physical growth. Our instructors utilize all the standard gymnastics equipment, including the high balance beam, uneven bars and vault.
TUMBLE BUGS (Fridays, 11:00-11:45 a.m.)
AGES: 3-5. Children will be introduced to the world of tumbling. Kids will learn basic motor skills, flexibility, cartwheels and somersaults, and how to follow directions. The balance beam, vault, and uneven bars will also be introduced.
LEVEL 1 (Tuesdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m.)
AGES: 5+. Students will be introduced to the basics of gymnastics. This is a great class for any beginners! On the floor exercise students will learn forward and backward rolls, cartwheels, round-off and several different jumps and leaps. Students will also have the opportunity to begin learning the basics on balance beam, bars, and vault. COST PER SESSION: $55*
LEVEL 2 (Wednesdays, 4:15-5:15 p.m.)
Students should be able to complete the Level 1 floor exercise skills independently and will be introduced to several new skills such as; handstand roll downs, back extensions, front and back walkovers and more advanced jumps and leaps. Students will continue working on basic skills on balance beam, bars, and vault. COST PER
SESSION: $55*
LEVEL 3 (Thursdays, 4:00-5:00 p.m.)
Students are ready to begin Level 2 floor exercise skills independently and will be introduced to front and back handsprings. Students will begin learning more advanced skills on balance beam, bars, and vault. COST PER SESSION: $55*
LEVEL 4 (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5:00-6:30 p.m.)
This is a more advanced class and while the ability level in this class varies, all students are able to do round-off back handsprings with spot and are able to complete most of the previous level skills independently. Placement in this class is with instructor approval only. COST PER SESSION: $75*

ABOUT OUR INSTRUCTORS
Margie Laurita competed for four years with Greeley’s University of Northern Colorado gymnastics team and was the head coach for three years at both Windsor and Northglenn high schools. She has helped lead the SPRD gymnastics program since its inception three years ago. Mrs. Laurita teaches P.E. at Hemphill Middle School.
Sara Routh competed for five years with the Owatonna Gymnastics Club in Owatona, Minnesota, where she also later coached. She directed the Mankato Area Gymnastics School prior to moving to Colorado; she also taught tumbling to Minnesota State University’s cheer squad. Mrs. Routh, the counselor for Hemphill Middle School, has helped lead the SPRD gymnastics program since its inception.
