Facilities and Rental

RENTAL INFORMATION

The rental rate is $30 per hour (in-district residents) and $40 per hour (out-of-district). The daily rate is $150 per day for in-district residents and $200 per day for out-of-district residents.

CLEANING CHECKLIST

Renters must also pay a separate, $200 damage deposit. If the facility is left in the same condition as when the renter arrived and key (if applicable) is returned within three business days, the check will not be deposited.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Birthday Express ($60): The Express package includes set-up, balls and hoops, the space maze, and Rec Gym rental for 2 hours.

Birthday Deluxe ($100): The Deluxe package includes set-up, balls and hoops, the space maze, Rec Gym rental for 2 hours, 24 cupcakes, drinks, paper products (plates & napkins), and balloons.

All reservations must be made in person at least two (2) weeks in advance. Payment in full is due at the time of reservation, and a completed SMPRD Event Set-up Form must be submitted. A 7-day advance notice is required for cancellations and refunds.

SMPRD FACILITIES

Recreation Center (1932 Burton Street): The building houses various groups and community organizations. The building is also available to rent for your special event. Discovery Time Preschool and Daycare is held here as well.

 

Legion Hall (56423 Westview Avenue): The Legion Hall is a meeting place for various activities and organizations. The building is also available to rent for your special event.

 

Main Park: The Main Park on Wagner Street is a gathering place for kids of all ages. With the outdoor basketball court and the playground, there's a little something for everyone.

 

Lyons Park: The park is located on Railroad Avenue. The park facilities include a playground, horseshoe pits, and a covered picnic facility.

South Ball Field (1932 Burton Street): The South Ball Field is primarily utilized by the softball association, the High School softball team, the co-ed softball league, and various competitive teams. Batting cages are also available for use.

North Ball Field (56185 Sunset Avenue): The North Ball Field was completed in 2005 and was funded by Adams County Open Space. The American Legion baseball teams, the High School baseball team, the youth baseball association, and various competitive teams use the field.

Fitness Trail and Track: The Fitness Trail begins at the North Baseball Field and includes 10 exercise stations. It concludes at the entrance of the Strasburg High School Track.

Five Acre Sports Park (55113 E. Bison Drive): The renovated park was made possible by an Arapahoe County Open Space Grant. The park includes a new ball field, a multi-purpose grass field, and a new playground. Phase II will include a full-size outdoor basketball court, picnic areas, and trails.
